An AI agent for this week's applicants in Loxo
Someone still has to get each new applicant into Loxo: checked against the database, attached to the right job, CV on the record, no second copy of someone you know. Loxo says its agents keep a record fresh once it exists. An AI agent can do that intake, and your consultants keep every conversation.

Applicant lists from adverts, people and companies in Loxo, each job's pipeline and the documents on a record.
New or updated people, CVs uploaded to the record, activities logged, and candidates moved along the job's pipeline.
What Loxo is and who runs it
Loxo is recruitment software that its maker calls a Talent Intelligence Platform. It puts the applicant tracking system, the CRM, sourcing and outreach in one place, for recruitment and executive search firms and for in-house hiring teams.
Consultants and resourcers live in its records of people, companies, jobs and the pipeline of candidates on each job. In a small agency the owner or an operations lead also looks after the settings, the pipeline stages and who can see what.
Applicant upkeep an AI agent can do in Loxo
Applicants logged against the job
An advert on LinkedIn or a job board brings a list of applicants. The agent searches Loxo for each person, updates the record where they exist, creates them where they do not and adds them to that job's pipeline.
Duplicates caught before they exist
Merging two people in Loxo cannot be undone, so the agent checks email, phone and employer before it creates anyone. A likely match it cannot settle is put to a consultant, not merged.
CVs and notes on the record
The agent uploads each CV to the person in Loxo and logs what happened as an activity, so the next consultant to search finds the document and the history, not an empty profile.
Interviews booked and stages moved
When a consultant picks who goes forward, the agent settles the time by email, sends the confirmation and moves the candidate along that job's pipeline in Loxo, so the stage is right the same day. Feedback calls and interview preparation stay with the consultant.
Roles that work in Loxo
Candidate pipeline and ATS upkeep
Logs every applicant in Loxo against the right job, attaches the CV and flags likely duplicates.
CV screening and shortlisting
Ranks each application against criteria you approve, with a reason beside each, for the consultant to decide.
Interview scheduling
Agrees interview times by email, sends confirmations and moves the candidate's stage in Loxo.
How the connection is set up
Loxo publishes what it calls an Open API, with reference pages for people, companies, jobs, candidates and documents. Requests carry an API key, which Loxo says is generated in Settings in your own Loxo account, so an administrator at your agency creates it. The route is agreed with you first.
Loxo's pricing page lists API access under its Professional plan, and a second route, an MCP connection for AI tools, from its Core plan up. So the first check is which plan you are on. The role uses only the access it needs.
Questions owners ask
Loxo says its agents keep records clean. What is left for us?
Loxo's agents work inside Loxo. Its Data Agents keep records clean and current, and others source candidates and take interview notes, on its Professional plan. An Agent Resource, an AI worker managed like one of your team, would hold a role you specify across Loxo, the job boards and the inbox.
Will it fill in missing contact details?
No. It records what the applicant supplied on the application and the CV, and flags a record with no phone number or email for a consultant. Finding contact details is something Loxo offers through an agent of its own, and whether to use that is your decision.
What about duplicates already in our database?
The agent can list the pairs it believes are the same person, with the evidence for each. Loxo describes a merge as irreversible, so a consultant or your operations lead decides each one. Preventing new duplicates is part of the daily work.
Does our Loxo plan include API access?
That is checked with you first. Loxo's pricing page lists API access under Professional and Enterprise, and an MCP connection for AI tools from Core. What your contract includes is between you and Loxo. If your plan has no way in, you hear that before you commit to anything.
